We open cold from Charleston, West Virginia with some "real, live, and fresh" wrestling action. Hulk Hogan is in the ring against Taskmaster Kevin Sullivan and the Enforcer Arn Anderson. Originally supposed to be Hogan and the Booty Man vs the Alliance, it turned into a handicap match with a dumb stipulation after Booty got injured on Saturday Night. If the heels win, they get five minutes alone with the Booty Babe. If Hogan wins, he gets five minutes alone with any of the Alliance to End Hulkamania's three managers. So of course Hogan dominates the entire match. He throws some of the weakest chair shots in history and just tosses Sullivan and Anderson around. He goes through his moves and drops the leg on Taskmaster to win. Hogan teases his five minutes alone with Woman. Then he teases five minutes alone with Elizabeth. Hogan is insinuating he is going to rape these women. He then chooses Jimmy Hart, runs through his moves on him, and is about to drop the leg when the Giant makes the save. He chokeslams Hogan but Hogan gets right back on his feet and bodyslams the big, nasty, stinky Giant. Mean Gene shows up in the ring and Hogan teases bodyslamming him but instead screams that he's gonna climb the ladder back to the title picture and put away Flair for good. Again. Over and over again. For the next five years.

WCW Monday Nitro - 4/1/96
The action starts out hot and heavy as soon as we tune into Nitro this week. The Giant and Stinger are arguing as the bell rings. What was supposed to be Sting and the Giant vs Harlem Heat turned into Sting vs Giant after Jimmy Hart paid the Harlem Heat to stay backstage. Sting is really taking it to the Giant as he no-sells. Sting throws a huge crossbody but bounces off and is hit with a big ol' elbow drop. Lex Luger, one half of the World Tag Team Champions with Sting, runs in and saves his partner, ending the match in a DQ for the Giant.
Also tonight, Flair versus Luger for the World Heavyweight strap, Steiners vs the Road Warriors vs Public Enemy in a triangle tag, and the Megamaniacs versus the Taskmaster and Arn Anderson.

WCW Uncensored 1996 - 3/24/96
From the birthplace of Elvis Presley, Tupelo, Mississippi, we're live for World Championship Wrestling Uncensored '96! We join the American Dream, Dusty Rhodes, Tony Schiavone, and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan for a night of exciting action. Well, action at least. Well, like half a show's worth of exciting action. Heenan is wearing leather tonight so he can "wash stuff off" and everyone is excited for the Doomsday Triple Cage Match. The sadistic structure is already constructed off to the side of the arena! Also tonight, the Chicago Street Fight between Sting & Booker T and the Road Warriors, The Giant faces off against Loch Ness for a shot at Ric Flair's World Heavyweight title, and Konnan faces Eddie Guerrero for the United States Championship!

WCW Monday Nitro - 3/18/96
Its a cold open into some hot action live tonight in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Giant and Jimmy Hart are beating up Loch Ness instead of the "advertised" bout, Loch Ness vs Lex Luger. I guess having cancer makes you ineligible to be in the Dungeon of Doom. Luger comes strutting down the ramp, posing, and ignoring the beatdown happening around him. The announcers inform us that the reason the fight is happening is because The Giant wants to be the only giant in WCW. Luger finally makes it to the ring, Nick Patrick rings the bell and counts Loch Ness out. Luger heads up to commentary to declare his victory the "shortest title defense in WCW history."
No Moon Landing's X Of The Year: Wrestling 2012
Wrestling owns and there was a ton of great wrestling this year
This match ruled. A fast-paced matched with high drama and some in-ring athleticism rarely seen, Richards and Elgin took us from high to low and hit every spot in between. A fantastic match featuring two of the best wrestlers in the world today that should have rocketed Elgin to even larger fame than he's current experiencing.
